Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine is a leading technological university with global reach (consistently in the top ten universities worldwide according to the QS World University Rankings conducted by the Times Higher Education Supplement). The Human Robotics Group (HRG) led by Dr. Burdet is doing research at the interface of robotics and bioengineering, focusing on human machine interaction. It uses an integrative approach of neuroscience and robotics, to i) investigate human motor control, and ii) design efficient assistive devices and virtual reality based training systems for neurorehabilitation and robot-aided surgery.
