18 December 2014 the Symbitron project was externally reviewed by the project officer of the European Commission, two experts in the field of wearable exoskeletons and an innovation expert. During the day, the progress made in the first year of the project was presented by all Symbitron members. Furthermore, a nice demo of the Achilles in combination with the IMU sensor fusion method and the vibrotactile stimulation system was given. We are very proud to announce that the first year of the Symbitron project was assessed as excellent!
